Make the News to Get Traffic

Posted by Rajiv Pandey in , , , , , , , ,

If you've ever been asked to sign up for an RSS feed than you've been exposed to one of the newest and best ways to raise your audience from occasional lurkers to hardcore subscribers. RSS feeds stand for Really Simple Syndication and are used by news outlets to help provide fresh content to their viewers non-stop. Wouldn't it be nice if you could do that too? Well, you can. You can make your own news feed and post in on your website and content to provide fresh content that you didn't even have to create on your own.

Another way that RSS feeds are used are by people who browse multiple sites and are looking for particular stories. They install a news reader on their web browsers and they can then pull in RSS feeds to help them categorize and view headlines of multiple stories without having to read or visit each one. This makes the job of finding relevant information extremely easy and it allows them to really target news that they are interested in viewing.

Finally, you can take the ability to create an RSS feed and use it with your own content. Then, you can provide that RSS feed to other people who might be interested in syndicating your content. You can even charge for that, if your content is that much in demand. So, there are plenty of ways that RSS feeds are becoming more and more the ultimate way to create subscribers, generate exponential exposure, and even make money too.

How Google Rank BLog!!

Posted by Rajiv Pandey in , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Did you know- How google used to rank your blog !!!… Well as for as i know you all might me aware of this feature of Google. Yes you are right- I am gonna share you about a little bit of my reserch on a tool of Google that’s being very popular now a days. That is “Google Blog Search” with this tool we can search the blogs listed in google. If you are getting a high traffic on your blogs, no doubt this will be very profitable for you. But what are the basic factors does Google take into account to elaborate the search results, as for as i know Google used to work on some techniques about the positive and negative factors affecting blog ranking, check it out:—

Positive Factors:

* Popularity of the blog (RSS subscriptions)
* Implied popularity (how many clicks search results get)
* Inclusion in blogrolls
* Inclusion in “high quality” blogrolls
* Tagging of posts (also from users)
* References to the blog by Resource.
* Page rank of Blog.

Negative Factors:

* Predictable frequency of posts (short bursts of posts might indicate spam)
* Content of the blog does not match content of the feed
* Content includes spam keywords
* Duplicated content
* Posts have all the same size
* Link distribution of the blog.
* Posts primarily link to one page or site.

So be careful about these terms, and then you will be surely rewarded by Google..In fact all these Terms are mostly common in all other major Search Engines.

Let me first start by explaining what Social bookmarking is and why it is important to social bookmark all of your blog posts. Quite simply stated, social bookmarking will bring your blog more traffic. As internet marketers, that it exactly what we are all after. Social bookmark sites allow us to share our favorite sites with others who might be interested as well as increasing our back links at the same time.

All the links that you leave have the potential to bring traffic back to your blog. As you begin to regularly submit your link to authority social bookmarking sites, like Digg, Twitter, and Stumbleupon, your blog will benefit greatly by moving up rank rapidly in the search engines for your selected keywords.

Now just a quick tutorial on how to easily social bookmark your blog posts.

First, what you need to do is find a list of some social bookmark sites. There are plenty around, just do a Google search or go to SocialMarker.com.

Next you have to sign up at each bookmarking site. This process may take up to an hour but keep in mind that you are only going to have to go through this process one time.

The secret to getting indexed in Yahoo involves constant updates to your site. The updates, however, have to be done on both the site and through Real Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds. Here’s how you go about getting indexed.

The first step is to start a blog for your site. You can build a blog on your site or use a free service. I prefer blogger.com. Once you have the blog up with content posted, you must turn the blog into a real simple syndication feed. Again, you can use your own system. I prefer to use a free service because I really don’t have the time to waste on such things.

If you have a yahoo email account, you need to access you’re My Yahoo page. If you don’t have an account, get one! Once you are on the My Yahoo page, do the following:

1. Click the “add content” link in the upper left hand under the search box.

2. When the new page opens, click the “Add RSS by URL” link on the right of the “Find Content” search box in the upper section of the page.

3. Enter the exact link provided by Feedburner and click “add.” Do NOT add the url for your blog.

4. Click the “My Yahoo” tab at the top of the page and refresh the page.

At this point, you should see your feed at the bottom of the page. If you don’t, be patient. Yahoo is sometimes slow, so just try it again in an hour or so. When the feed is added, you should see the name of your blog and the title of each post under it. Yahoo can take up to a day to add new posts, so don’t panic if they don’t show up immediately.

Once you’ve completed the above, Yahoo will follow the links in the blog and index the pages on your site.

Two very well respected marketers, Anik Singal and Rosalind Gardner have finally released a training program, which I think is the easiest way ANYONE can get started blogging online - Blog Classroom.

Their entire goal is to teach you how you can get everything you need set-up in just minutes and then even MAINTAIN your blog in just minutes a day. They recently ran a COMPLETELY free pre-course that had well over 1,000 comments on it from students who were amazed at how easily they were getting their blog businesses started. Now, they’re releasing over 100+ videos and a 4-week Webinar coaching group to basically reveal every detail on how they run their blog businesses.

Look - blogging is big business. People are making serious income blogging online. If you’ve always wanted to work from home, if you’ve struggled making money online, or if you’ve never even considered it - give Blog Classroom a try. You’ll be glad that you did.

How to clean harmful files and adult content from your PC ???
I am online all the time, and there are times when I accidentally come across an adult website or another site that installs harmful material onto my computer. It is annoying, it hurts your computer, and it sends out information about you to sites that you do not want to attract. Here is how you can get rid of adult content and harmful files on your PC.

  1. First of all, we want to use the tools features in the web browser you use to clear out bad sites that have been visited and images that they have left on your computer. If you have seen the image, it is on your hard drive.
  2. READ IF YOU USE INTERNET EXPLORER:
    Ste
    ps 2-5 are for Internet Explore users. Click on the "Tools" menu and click internet options for Internet explorer web browsers. There are three delete options that you can click on to clear out all of the cached items, and we will walk through these.
  3. Click on "Delete Files" to get rid of all of the cached images on your computer that are automatically saved to your hard drive when you browse a website.
  4. Click on "Clear History" to get rid of the listing of all of the visited web addresses you have viewed on your computer.
  5. Additionally, you will want to click on "Clear Cookies" to remove any marking or data files that the site placed on your machine to identify you as a viewer and log your information.
  6. IF YOU USE FIREFOX:
    If you are using Firefox, then you will click on "Clear Private Data" and select the check boxes of the items you want to delete. If the items you want to remove are not listed, then you can really get into the details by clicking on "Tools", then "options", then the "Privacy" item to find what you want to clear. You should also clear your cookies.
  7. Now we want to clear our search engine histories as well. To do this, you need to clear the forms on your internet browser. It is also a good idea to tunr off the AutoComplete as well so that your computer will not guess the items you want to search and return a nasty result or page that has bad files and images. You can take care of both of these in your Tools Menu for your web browser. Sometimes you have to actually clear your index.dat file. To find this file, do a search in the start menu icon and type in the file name as "index.dat"
  8. Even after you follow all of these steps, there may still be some harmful files and images on your computer that you can not erase. If you want to get rid of everything, I recommend the use of these programs that will take care of everything listed and then some. They costs some money, but they are great programs:

"Dangling links" are simply links that point to any page with no outgoing links. They affect the model because it is not clear where their weight should be distributed, and there are a large number of them. Often these dangling links are simply pages that we have not downloaded yet..........Because dangling links do not affect the ranking of any other page directly, we simply remove them from the system until all the page ranks are calculated. After all the page ranks are calculated they can be added back in without affecting things significantly." - extract from the original page rank paper by Google’s founders, Sergey Brin and Lawrence Page.

A dangling link is a link to a page that has no links going from it, or a link to a page that Google hasn't indexed. In both cases Google removes the links shortly after the start of the calculations and reinstates them shortly before the calculations are finished. In this way, their effect on the page rank of other pages in minimal.

Although it may be functionally good to link to pages within the site without those pages linking out again, it is bad for page rank. It is pointless wasting page rank unnecessarily, so always make sure that every page in the site links out to at least one other page in the site.

6 Best Ways To Boost Your Creativity

Posted by Rajiv Pandey in , ,

Either those working in a creative environment or those who don’t, must have had experienced a moment when they feel like they had nothing at all in their mind. They got blocked. They are stuck. However, there are some steps that these people can try to get unblocked. They can even go back to being extremely creative.
All they have to do is simply:

1. Break off. Simply do nothing. Take your time. You might be overloaded. You might be stressed out. And, there is nothing better you can do than just stop doing anything. Take some time to enjoy yourself. Get a bubble bath or enjoy your most favorite food or go shopping. Anything that can make you feel relaxed.

2. Don’t be afraid to make changes. Change anything that you think is necessary. Change your working atmosphere. Change your way of doing the job. Change your way of thinking.

3. Believe in yourself. Don’t underestimate your capability. If once you could do it, then you can do it and you’ll always be able to do it. Keep in mind that you are a creative person. Don’t ever think the opposite.

4. Play with what seem to be impossible ideas. Try to. You’ll never know whether it’s really impossible or not until you try. Even if it might not be an amazing result, at least you have exercised. And, for most creative people a seemingly-impossible-or-bad idea might turn into an astonishing one.

5. Get a friend. Link with a friend also working as a creative person.

6. Enjoy the process. Anything done with joy might bring a better result than that with depression. Especially anything related to creativity. If you tend to get drowned in the river of hopelessness, you are unlikely to be creative. Don’t waste your being blocked and stuck. Move forward. Your willingness is the key to creativity.
